Another Israeli Massacre in Qana This Morning

It’s the same Qana with the mothers and children slaughtered by Israel’s high tech weapons all over again. Dying by high tech weapons does not count as terrorism.

At about one after midnight today Israel bombed a low tech shelter in Qana. The mothers and children thought it would protect them from the smart bombs of the “morally superior” IDF/IOF/IF. They tucked their children told them their bed time stories and sat there scared. Then the bombs came. It took the lives of FIFTY FIVE so far.

The pictures of the rescuers of the civil defense pulling the children from under the rubbles are horrific. Some of them were crying so were some of the photographers. Israel cut off the roads between the villages and cities. It hits moving cars, trucks and ambulances. It hits convoys of civilians fleeing. Those in Qana thought it would be safer to stay put. They were wrong. Now they are dead. I can almost predict what Israel will say. It will be the same shit it said in 1996 when it slaughtered more than 100 women and children taking the UN base as a shelter. Peres was PM then.

Rice was entertaining a group of politicians yesterday (or before) by playing the piano. Yes she is talented. She has a soft side. Nero of Rome comes to mind.

When mothers think of children, they think of baby bottles filled with milk. When mother Rice thinks of giving birth to a new middle east she thinks of smart bombs for our babies. Then she plays the piano as our country burns.

As an American, I am totally disgusted with Rice. I awoke this morning to check the news, what was shown~a very happy smiling Rice with the cold Isreali lady. Totally totally sickened by my government as massacres happen next door. Sickenend by the Israeli govt not agreeing to a humanitarian 72 hour ceasefire. My God ~ what happened to humanity. And to see the purely American accents serving on the IDF. Doesn’t anyone get it in this country. We gave Israel this year $41mil for “asorbing Jewish refugees”. Wake up my fellow Americans, call and write your senators. Good human beings in my country do exist ~ activate yourself for humanity sake. Call your official~demand ceasefire~demand we open dialouge about funding Isreal financially and with arms. How many more “mistakes” will it take How can we stand for this. How Isreal turns the blame to Lebanon is ludicrist. The ONLY solace I find this morning is their souls are in heaven and protected from no more misery. My heart hurts so deep for the victims alive and remaining in the south because Israel will NOT allow a 72 hr ceasefire. UNBELIEVABLE! WAKE UP MY FELLOW AMERICANS AND CALL YOUR REPS NOW. NOW, NOW, NOW IF YOU HAVE ANY HEART AT ALL.

Israel said hitting the building was a “mistake.” Thirty-seven children who will no longer play. Thirty-seven children who die after living in the terror of war, war brought on by adults. It should be noted that some civilians have been unable to leave. Some are too poor to leave. Please be aware the same thing happened during hurricane Katrina. The reality is that civilian populations can not always leave war zones. This is not a “mistake,” this is a tragedy. Israel’s leaflets telling civilians to get out, do not meet with the reality of civilian populations being able to get out. Evacuation was ordered in Louisana for hurricane Katrine, but some in population were unable to leave. This event underscores the tragedy of war. This event underscores the need to bring all parties to the table for discussions of a lasting peace. All parties including all nations supporting nations engaging in war actions and all groups supporting those engaging in war actions. It is time to lay to rest Israel’s long-standing and ineffective stand that they will not negotiate with “terrorists.” All war is terror. The terror of war affects civilian populations. Forward my plea to Isreal and to the United States. Terror has existed in the Middle East for decades an no leader has been willing to change the course of decades of terror. To change the course of decades of terror, the parties need to change the way they have been dealing with the situtation. It is time for change. It is time to accept the reality that the past practices have failed for generations.

An Update: I just listened to Ms. Rice make it sound like SHE was CHOOSING to not go to Lebanon. This conflicts with PREVIOUS news stories. How does Ms. Rice expect to lead in the solution when she is unable to be open and honest. Ms. Rice CHOSE NOTHING – the choice was made for her. “But infuriated Lebanese officials said they had asked Rice to postpone the visit. Either way, Rice was not welcome to visit Lebanon, an ally.”“Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora said all talks on a resolution to the Mideast crisis are on hold because of the Israeli airstrike that killed dozens of women and children in the southern Lebanese town of Qana early Sunday.”“”There is no place on this sad morning for any discussion other than an immediate and unconditional ceasefire as well as an international investigation into the Israeli massacres in Lebanon now.”Ms. Rice, willing to attempt to mislead the world, is now going to work on a UN Resolution to end the fighting? Is it my imagination, or is Ms. Rice’s actions working against the ability to believe and trust any draft resolution created by Ms. Rice? Ms. Rice could have been honest, and said, Leadership in Lebanon has refused further talks because of Israel’s collateral damage, and therefore was returning to work with the UN on this matter — but Ms. Rice did not. This concerns me, and I had to post my thoughts.

  9. Folks the yehude are going to take Lebanon all the way to the Turkish border. There is nothing that Lubenan or Syria can do.They have to put the Yehude world Population of about 100-120 million somewhere. But this is what might happen. Lubenan is going to be used to house the Gaza Palestinians the Yehude want Gaza they want it bad! They are going to remove the Arab in Gaza or kill the Arab in Gaza both more than likely. They are going to forcebly move the Gaza Arabs to Lubenan. Thow a minority of the Arabs will be made Israeli citizens. Then the Yuhude will fill Gaza like a water bucket, with a small Arab minority in that area. Then the case of Lebanon it will be filled with Gaza Arabs as well as a bigger Yehude population than what lebanon had at the time of the invasion. And of course the Gaza Arabs and the remainder Lebanese arabs that have not been killed or forced to move to Syria, Turkey,Jordan or Egypt will be granted Israeli citizenship. And Oh! by the way the 100-300 thousand Yehude population that were in Lebanon before the war where are they at now. People havent heard a word about them..It seems like they vanished..But folks this is my belief this is like a puzzle. Slowley coming together…

Whatever did we do wrong to bring upon ourselves an evil a nation of people as Israel?I know mankind has perpetrated many crimes over millenia, but I cannot think of anything we ever did that we should be so punished as to have these people on Planet Earth. When I awoke this morning and saw the photos of the casualties at Qana, I realize there is no medicine powerful enough, no sedative sufficiently numbing, to rid my heart of this pain. The Israelis are a scourge upon the Middle East. They bring violence and aggression and contribute nothing to the greater good.Yet where are the other nations who should support Lebanon?Moussa, again, my one consolation in all of this horror is to know that you are alive.Thank you.

Are Qana’s children screams as they are dying Rice’s ‘Pangs of Birth’ of her ‘New Middle East’ ? I said in a previous post that Ms Rice does not know what it is to have a child and to loose it. I am really sorry and I want to apologize. As I hear Ms Rice talking about the ‘Pangs of Birth’ of the ‘New Middle East’, it comes to my attention that Ms Rice was pregnant for a while now and that she is just giving birth at this very moment. The happy father is Olmert and the state of Israel. The process seems however difficult because it has been going on for a while, since July 12th. In fact, Ms Rice have been trying to have a Middle Eastern child for a long time. It started in 2003 with the invasion of Iraq. But this child was practically born dead and, as every mourning mother, it took Ms Rice a long time before admitting this fact. Now, as it seems, after recovering from this initial tragedy, Ms Rice is poised to have a child in Lebanon. Ms Rice is in full labor right now and has asked the father to speak to the press. We have this declaration from Israel’s prime minister about the latest developments in Rice’s efforts to have a Middle Eastern child:”…And I have received the full support of the US administration (and 70% of the American public), and the US Secretary of State assures me that she only hears the “pangs of birth” of the New Middle East with every cry and scream from women and children under the rubble all over Lebanon. Secretary Rice has asked for more cries and screams of women and children in the rubble of destroyed buildings in Lebanon because she strongly feels that the “pangs” are very necessary for the birth of its “New Middle East.””(Dixit Angry Arab)If things were to go wrong for Ms Rice this time, my advice for her is to change the father. This is an incestuous relation and it cannot lead to the birth of a healthy child, let alone a birth ‘tout court’. May be she can try switching sides if she really want to have a Middle Eastern child after all. But I know, right now, of no other ME man, potential child bearer and would-be father, who would want this woman. Today, Lebanese prime minister Fouad Siniora told her she is not welcome in Lebanon. Hard times ahead for Ms Rice.

I just found this blog and it is the first time I ever post on one. Is this what it is like? Everyone with one opinion? In response to the anonymous person above, these people were casualties of war. It was a legitimate military target area. Why are you all not yelling at the Hesbala for being the cowards and hiding (yes HIDING), among the civilian population while firing their missiles? If you ask me, they are the cowards who will not face the Israeli military. Why don’t they care about the Lebanese civilians? My heart goes out to them and their families, but they are blaming the wrong people. In my opinion, the Hesbala should stop hiding amongst women and children and start heading south, in order to meet the Israeli military head-on. This way these poor civilians are not caught in the middle of this!! I’m amazed at how blind people of this region are. The Hesbala started this current conflict. They fire hundreds of missiles per day from little girl’s bedrooms, which they know are visible to the Israeli drones and then run and hide in other civilian homes. Knowing damn well that the little girl’s room they were just in is going to be bombed as a strategic military target. How is that not cowardly and unfair to the Lebanese people? What would you all be saying if Hesbala’s missiles would have each killed at least 5 civilians (small minimal number to make my point)? This is day 21 of this conflict and the average number of missiles fired against Israel is 100 per day. That means that today 10500 innocent Israeli civilians would be dead. Can someone point out at least “ONE” military target that Hesbala has tried to hit in Israel, that their drones or infra red video captured as legitimate, the same way Israeli defense captured the missiles being fired from Qana? Why are you all not condemning Hesbala firing random missiles at Israel? I do wonder what you would all be saying if those missiles did kill hundreds of Innocent Israeli civilians.

  26. Beirut, July. 12 (BNA) The Lebanese Hezbollah movement announced Wednesday the arrest of two Israeli soldiers in southern Lebanon. Lebanese police said that the two soldiers were arrested as they entered the town of Aitaa al-Chaab inside the Lebanese border. Israeli aircraft were active in the air over southern Lebanon, police said, with jets bombing roads leading to the market town of Nabatiyeh, 60 kilometers south of Beirut. The real terrorist is Israel. A handfull of Hezbollah killed and over 400 civilians killed. Now you might not believe what you read above. But how do you know if Israel and the U.S. is telling the truth? As being from the U.S. I am angered at how my government is supporting these sensless killings. They have not been honest in what is really going on. This is a war that Israel and the U.S. will loose, just like Vietnam. Take it from a vet.

  27. fairandbalanced · · Reply

Take it from the son of a vet and retired Col. Special Forces that did server in Nam, Israel and the US are not to blame. How can you say that? How can you support the opinion that Israel is to blame and that they are the terrorist? You have one side that hides among citizens and fires missiles at a neighboring country, which make the homes of these innocent people become military targets. This same side started the conflict 21 days ago and has only one objective, the genocide of an entire country and its people. That’s it! On the other hand, you have a country that just wants to exist and live in peace. That does not want to keep looking over its shoulder and fearing for innocent people’s lives. Can someone point out one place where an Israeli leader stated publicly that their only intention and goal in this war, is to kill as many innocent Lebanese Muslims as possible and that they would not stop bombing until all of them are dead? I think not! Now who do you think is the terrorist when you look at those facts? Speaking about facts, the US is the leader in global aid for Muslim countries, with respect to everything from food, education, medical and financial support, yet these same countries and people are the ones who most want to kill Americans. It is actually very sad.Open your eyes friend.

You don’t see other nations complaining over U.S’s domestic policies. Is democracy a ideal model for all countries around the globe? Look what happened in Iraq, is there going to be true, balanced democracy in future..NEVER. (Notice I am not mentioning Weapon of Mass destruction since there was none, and now Bush’s excuse is a democracy for Middle East). How about Afganistan..Same Thing. They will kill each other until handful of Iraqi left and then rest of Iraqis will be from neighbor countries such as Lebanon, Syria, Iran etc…Who’s responsbile for that? United States. Saddam Hussein was not a good man, but U.S. has no right to take over the country because of the leader, it was the duty of the Iraqi people. By the way, why isn’t there any democracy in North Korea, Vietnam, Cuba, China? Not to mention, U.S’s dear middle eastern allies Egypt, Jordan, Saudia Arabia. Speaking of the current issues, who created Hezbollah? Why was it so necessary for Israel to occupy Lebanon in the past? It is Israel who created Hezbollah, and because of Hezbollah they were kicked out of Lebanon. Isreal still have been occupying some land in Southern Lebanon since their flee, and left thousands of land mines in the border of Lebanon on Lebanon sides that kills/injures Lebanese daily. Also, Israel captures Lebanese, supposably terrorist and locks them up in Israel prisons, without trials violating the Geneva Code and International Laws, just like U.S. is doing G. Bay. Hezbollah capture Israeli soldiers when they can, and negotiate throught Israel to exchange prisoners, as they always have been doing, until 3 weeks ago. Hezbollah leader, clearly said that he didn’t expect Isreal would respond like this, and only wanted to exchange priosners as before. But Israel did not want to, and started massacring. Had Hezbollah wanted, they could have killed those captured Israeli soldiers, but they just wanted a simple trade, a simple military tactic that worked before. Truth is, Israel does not really care about their captured soldiers and maybe there is something else that is in play. A peaceful neighbor never goes blow up his neighbor’s house. If that is Israel’s way of peace, I wonder what would be if they were angry. Hezbollah started firing missiles when Lebanon was already hit as an act of retaliation. How often have you heard on news that Hezbollah’s missiles killed Israeli citizens in past few years? It was probably suicide bombing by palestanians which is a whole another case.By the way, Israeli Leader intention not need to be stated, it is applied by its actions and the whole world is watching and yet paralyzed. Some logical explanation for why muslims blame United States for Israel’s aggression, maybe because our government is supplying with precision bombs that has been killing these civilian muslims (by the way, U.S.’s latest bomb shipment aroused protest in Great Britain because the cargo plane landed there, Tony Blair totally neglected the protest and allowed it to land there), maybe since we have been helping Israel to become what it is today( supply of millions of $, supply of military equipments, troops?) and not to mention political support, that they have the nerve to continue atrocitous nazi behavior. Maybe because we generalize the entire muslim population by action of few. Maybe Instead of calling them terrorist, we feel the need to call them Islamic terrorists; by the way have you heard of Christian, Jewish, Hindu terrorists, I am sure they exist like in Sri Lanka, Colombia to name a few and Israel who was been granted permission by U.S. and U.N to commit terrorism. Maybe we are trying to change their lifestyle, by enforcing what we think is good for them, when we really should not. And maybe because we know or acknowldege nothing about their religion, and judge their religion by action of the few we see on T.V. Maybe we are bluntly showing that attacking muslims is attacking their religion and the list goes on….People really don’t care about who you are or what you do, it is important what can you do for your fellow mankind, which you will never be able to do if you can’t see right from wrong.

You all have some very valid points and I completely understand and acknowledge your views. I can accept the “Robin Hood” perspective and the reasons Hezbollah is viewed as the hero to the Lebanese people. Point taken. The problem that I have is that these poor civilians are getting killed because of the Hezbollah. Why can’t these poor people see that? I would think that they would finally say “STOP firing missiles at Israel”. If the US and Israel started this problem 21 days ago by firing random missiles at Lebanon for no reason, the world would not permit it and they would be condemned. I would be one of those people screaming. In that situation I would support a rebel militia force that fought back against a GIANT aggressor. This is not the case however. Hezbollah has a cause that they see as warranted and are getting innocent civilians killed because of their cause. Why not have a better cause like peace and the prosperity of the Lebanese people, where they can work with non-Muslim nations in order to improve the quality of life for their people? Please don’t misunderstand me. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. It pains me in way you can’t imagine, to see the images on TV and newswires. If I knew that someone wouldn’t come up and kill me just because of my nationality, I would try to go there and volunteer what I can to help the Lebanese people. The bottom line is that the US or Israel do not randomly bomb people in other countries and publicly announce that they will not stop bombing until an entire race or country no longer exists. Why do people ignore that? There is one side that does not want to negotiate a peace. All they want is for an entire race/country to be murdered. How else can Israel (or any country for that matter), ensure their existence, but to bomb strategic targets like airports etc.? To the point anonymous mentioned with the Canada\Hells Angels scenario where they cross over and steal so US Sheriffs, I say that you are not thinking in a broader sense. That scenario is not the same. Instead, you should say that the Hells Angels are 30,000 + strong and obtained missiles and terrorist training from two surrounding countries that hate the US and want them annihilated. And that the Hells Angels began firing 100+ missiles per day hitting NY, VT and Maine. If the Canadian government failed to stop and eliminate this threat to another sovereign nation, then the US should bomb all of those strategic targets. Let’s face it, the Lebanese government has allowed this to happen to its people, by not wiping Hezbollah off the map! How can people call them saviors when they are the cause? This would be the same in this example: I am at a football game with my son and we are sitting on our team’s side of the stadium. Each team has its own security forces. I start throwing rocks at the other side of the stadium and hitting innocent women and children from the apposing team’s side. Due to the amount of people on our side, their security can’t figure out my exact position, but they do know that I am in a certain area (within 10×10 people) based on trajectory and sightings etc.. Their only choice is to retaliate against everyone in that area, in order to ensure that it stops. This is their only choice since no one in that area stood up and protested my actions, so it is assumed that they are indeed accomplices. If this keeps happening over and over, do you think that my side of the stadium would call me a hero, a savior? I think not!! After the first rock was thrown and an innocent person on the opposite side was hit, my own side would probably have me arrested or thrown out of the game. In my opinion Israel is using excessive force based on strategic targets, since the Lebanese government has failed to stop this terrorist group. Does Hezbollah really love their people like you all say, or do they have their own hate-based agenda that is killing innocent people? I don’t know how you show your love, but I don’t do it by getting my family and friends killed. I do it by trying to live a peaceful life and working alongside my neighbors peacefully and with good intentions.

What other country, when attacked in an unprovoked aggression across a recognized international frontier, is then put on a countdown clock by the world, given a limited time window in which to fight back, regardless of whether it has restored its own security? What other country sustains 1,500 indiscriminate rocket attacks into its cities – every one designed to kill, maim and terrorize civilians – and is then vilified by the world when it tries to destroy the enemy’sinfrastructure and strongholds with precision-guided munitions thatsometimes have the unintended but unavoidable consequence of collateral civilian death and suffering?Hearing the world pass judgment on the Israel-Hezbollah war as it unfolds is to live in an Orwellian moral universe. With a few significant exceptions (the leadership of the United States, Britain, Australia, Canada and a very few others), the world – governments, the media, U.N. bureaucrats – has completely lost its moral bearings. The word that obviates all thinking and magically inverts victim intoaggressor is “disproportionate,” as in the universally decried“disproportionate Israeli response.”When the United States was attacked at Pearl Harbor, it did not respond with a parallel “proportionate” attack on a Japanese naval base. It launched a four-year campaign that killed millions of Japanese, reduced Tokyo, Hiroshima and Nagasaki to a cinder, and turned the Japanese home islands to rubble and ruin.Disproportionate? No. When one is wantonly attacked by an aggressor, one has every right – legal and moral – to carry the fight until the aggressor is disarmed and so disabled that it cannot threaten one’s security again. That’s what it took with Japan.Britain was never invaded by Germany in World War II. Did it respond to the blitz and V-1 and V-2 rockets with “proportionate” aerial bombardment of Germany? Of course not. Churchill orchestrated the greatest land invasion in history that flattened and utterly destroyed Germany, killing untold innocent German women and children in the process. The perversity of today’s international outcry lies in the fact that there is indeed a disproportion in this war, a radical moral asymmetry between Hezbollah and Israel: Hezbollah is deliberately trying to create civilian casualties on both sides while Israel is deliberately trying to minimize civilian casualties, also on both sides. In perhaps the most blatant terror campaign from the air since the London blitz, Hezbollah is raining rockets on Israeli cities and villages. These rockets are packed with ball bearings that can penetrate automobiles and shred human flesh. They are meant to kill and maim. And they do.But it is a dual campaign. Israeli innocents must die in order for Israel to be terrorized. But Lebanese innocents must also die in order for Israel to be demonized, which is why Hezbollah hides its fighters, its rockets, its launchers, its entire infrastructure among civilians. Creating human shields is a war crime. It is also a Hezbollah specialty. On Wednesday, CNN cameras showed destruction in Tyre. What does Israel have against Tyre and its inhabitants ? Nothing. But the long-range Hezbollah rockets that have been raining terror on Haifa are based in Tyre. What is Israel to do? Leave untouched the launch sites that are deliberately placed in built-up areas?Had Israel wanted to destroy Lebanese civilian infrastructure, it would have turned out the lights in Beirut in the first hour of the war, destroying the billion-dollar power grid and setting back Lebanon 20 years. It did not do that. Instead, it attacked dual-use infrastructure – bridges, roads, airport runways – and blockaded Lebanon’s ports to prevent the reinforcement and resupply of Hezbollah. Ten-thousand Katyusha rockets are enough. Israel wasnot going to allow Hezbollah 10,000 more.Israel’s response to Hezbollah has been to use the most precise weaponry and targeting it can. It has no interest, no desire to kill Lebanese civilians.Does anyone imagine that it could not have leveled south Lebanon, to say nothing of Beirut ? Instead, in the bitter fight against Hezbollah in south Lebanon, it has repeatedly dropped leaflets, issued warnings, sent messages by radio and even phone text to Lebanese villagers to evacuate sothat they would not be harmed.Israel knows that these leaflets and warnings give the Hezbollah fighters time to escape and regroup. The advance notification as to where the next attack is coming has allowed Hezbollah to set up elaborate ambushes. The result ? Unexpectedly high Israeli infantry casualties. Moral scrupulousness paid in blood. Israeli soldiers die so that Lebanese civilians will not, and who does the international community condemn for disregarding civilian life?

Morgan you made several valid points. Unfortunately, you can be assured that no one on this board will offer any honest non-aggressive responses. These are the kinds of points that anti-Israel Hezbollah supporters do not want to address. I have tried to look at the other points of view, but no one is posting anything with any substance. Everyone simply posts hate and absolutely no convincing arguments. I want someone to answer me three honest questions. 1. How many leaflets did Hezbollah drop in Israeli cities in order to warn the Israeli population about impending missiles, which were on the way to strike confirmed military targets. 2. What measures is Hezbollah taking to ensure the safety of the Lebanese and Israeli citizens?3. Can someone tell me how to locate a source that confirms an Israeli government official leader publicly stating that they will end the war when every last Muslim is dead and wiped off the planet? (We hear this every day from Hezbollah and several other Muslim leaders around the world).

It is too bad that Hisbolla is such cowards the hide with the children of Lebanon but what do you expect when they have been sacraficing children all along. The Mothers who show us how to cry don’t really know sorrow yet. They will soon. Keep your children away from hisbolla and they might not be murdered this way

From I’ve learned, the Hezbollah forces the innocent civilians to stay in their houses, so that they are killed. This way the coward Hezbollah leader can keep blaming Israel for retaliations. They are under threat of being killed by Hezbollah. It’s sad that the population does not see it.

Fairandbalanced:Answers to previous post:1.Not even relevant! Flyers were dropped to Lebanese, the people attempted to leave, they were targeted, the main and back roads bombed out. My family located in three separate areas stated the same thing. My mother n law called us frantic as she was trying to leave. See Human Rights Watch report confirming this.2.Why should they insure Isreali safety? Look at the HORRIFIC damage Isreal is forcing on Lebanon. They are not insuring their safety ~ no argument! See the Human Rights Watch report which disagrees with Israeli claim Hezbollah is fighting among civilians. They see no evidence. Hez did not unleash a war against the infrastructure causing the Isrealis to be without movement to southern areas.3. Go to Wikpedia for Hezbollah information. You might find it very informative and does not support your rhetoric.

i care said:Let’s stay on track here…1. Israel dropped leaflets to warn the population, however since the cowardly Hezbollah terrorists hide among the civilians and also began to hide with the crowd, Israel had to incapacitate their ability to rearm and regroup. It makes perfect military sense. If the civilians do not want to be targeted, they should push the Hezbollah from their homes and communities. Once again, where are the Hezbollah warnings to the Israeli civilians before the Katyusha rockets launch? The only reason that they have not gone after Israeli infrastructure, is because they could not. They don’t have the means. They could have accomplished this however, if they were not so hell bent on hatred and the death of Israeli’s and Americans and instead invested in educations for their population. Maybe in the areas of Science and Technology! (See the point?) All that energy spent on the wrong things and who suffers?2. You are playing with words here. Israel never said they would “insure” the civilian’s safety. However, they made attempts to warn them. You avoided the question…. Where are the warnings from Hezbollah? The Human Rights Watch reports don’t mean anything because of the same points. Since Hezbollah keeps hiding between women and children, anytime Israel fights back, they will be the bad guys since innocent civilians will probably get caught in the crossfire. I am not falling for this lie. I can see past this deception. Why doesn’t every single Hezbollah member in Lebanon start marching south to Israel and meet them half way? If they hate Israel so much and truly don’t want for Lebanese citizens to keep getting caught in the middle, they would stop hiding and come out!!! I think the entire world knows that if they did that, Israel would wipe them off the map. This is not the reason for them to keep doing what they are doing. If they can’t win against Israel, then they need to just accept that and stop getting their people killed. 3. Wikepedia is not an academically accepted resource and therefore, I will not waste my time on that site. I will however begin to research the entire history of Hezbollah from other reputable sources. Let’s face one reality please. You have to stop blaming a party for retaliating with supreme force, when someone attacks them from within citizens. What would you be saying if each Katyusha rocket that Hezbollah fired on non military targets in Israel killed a minimum of 5 citizens? At 100 missiles per day for 21 days, that would add up to 10500 innocent’s dead. Would still post the Human Rights Reports for me to see? I think not… Please open your heart and mind and start blaming the right party. My heart goes out to you and your family and if this world was different, I would open my home to you and all of your family if you needed it.

fairandbalanced or more like unfairandunbalanced,A douchebag like you are entitled to say whatever you want. Your informations are as biased as possible. Just what you can expect from a Jew/zionist/ignorant being ‘rational’. If it is your intention on lecturing people to sway from their ‘fair’ thoughts and views, it is not working. So F%*K off!

Why is Israel always defended and portraid as the “white Lamb” who can do no wrong, look at the past with open eyes then you can see the present. As for democratic elections: the result of such will always have to please the US.mad in usa

Anonymous with the bad mouth:Your arguments and answers to my questions are astonishing. You have such a way with words. It’s obvious that you learned that very proper etiquette at your grade school suicide bomb making academy. You are the perfect example of why it is important for Israel (or any country), to continue the fight until people like you are gone. What do you bring to society? What do you offer to your neighbors with your 3rd grade education? How will you help the poor, elderly or young to be economically stable and grow up to have prosperous and fruitful lives? I like the way you did not address any one of my points. Just so that you know, I am not a Jew and don’t fall for any media propaganda. Unlike you, I can make my own opinions based on REAL facts and information. Stop being like the cowardly Hezbollah hiding behind your “anonymous” name and using your profanity. Stand up and use a little intelligence to provide input to an observer. Anonymous 2:I would be defending the other side, but all I see is Israel asking for peace and Hezbollah stating publicly that all they want is to kill every Israeli on the planet. Trust me the US and Israel both have their faults and I know about it!!

Let me be clear, “fairandbalanced”, I encourage you to spend your energy educating yourself and finding compassion for humanity as whole. You are obviously one who bears much hatred in your heart, it definantly shows in your unbalanced responses and post. Why waste your time here, you are in no way “educating” anyone spewing post with your definant lack of knowledge. The present Human Rights Watch info will be a good start for you to become more like the name you hide under. My inlaws are in Lebanon, I know exactly what is going on inside and I have visited the area. I am Christian and American. It is not worth my time to respond to you personally, only to respond with pertinant information for those who wish to learn and educate themselves to truely help this world. All for Peace.

fairandbalanced,Good response, just what I expected to receive. First, I would like to apologize for my bad mouth for which if I had not, I wouldn’t have received a honest response from you. Second, thank you for sharing how much you like people like me, it means a lot, really! ;). You said “You are the perfect example of why it is important for Israel (or any country), to continue the fight until people like you are gone”. Wow! This is a response I get from a fairandbalanced person for being stupid. Yes, I admit I was being stupid, and my stupidity served my purpose. With all that hatred bottled up, how can you be rational, fair and balanced? What can you bring to society? What can you offer with your ivy-league education or whatever? How will you help people with 3rd grade education? How will you help the poor, elderly or young to be economically stable and grow up to have a prosperous and fruitful lives? These are some of the questions you asked me which am throwing back at you because I think you seriously need to answer these questions on your own. Just so you know, I am an American and I am not getting my education at suicide bomb making academy. I do not think they have that department at my University or any University in United States. I think “i care” has given you an excellent advice. No, you do not have have to be a Jew, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist or Hindu to fall for media propaganda, it can happen to anyone with incomplete or unreliable resources. I hope you are not a follower of Preacher John Hagee, and he is not a Jew. “This was my last response to you”God Bless you. God Bless America. God Bless Lebanon. God Bless Israel. God Bless Palestine. God Bless Kashmir. God Bless Sri-Lanka. God Bless Africa………………………………..Peace upon mankind as whole.

Firstly, I want to say that my heart has no hatred. I would equally open my home and family to an Israeli, Lebanese, Palestinian, or any one else. What I am running out of is patience. Seeing the atrocities over this past month has actually changed me in more ways than I could have imagined and I am not even in that region. The reason that I came to these types of blogs, was to gain a new perspective from the side that our media does not show very often. Several people have offered very useful perspectives and educated me on many parts of this conflict. Unfortunately however, 8 out of 10 times that I post even a small simple question. I get attacked in the same way that you attacked me. Most of the times someone else will post after me and ask why I was attacked, since all I did was ask a simple question about history. After a while it gets really old. Please don’t question my contribution to society and/or the growth of children. You can never possibly know what I have been doing for society since the age of 17. I am sure if you knew, you would probably feel silly for questioning that part of me. It is very sad that it takes a post like mine to make you see the horrible way you treated a complete stranger. Based on your posts and the most recent email from “I care”, I can see why some of these blogs are all the same and why I have gotten attacked on a few of them. The problem is that some of you feel that you need to EDUCATE me. Since you feel as though you are educated enough, there is no room to absorb another view or answer a question in an unbiased manner. I am not approaching my involvement with your blogs as the educated one coming to bring you all “The Light”. Far from it! I want to know why people support the Hezbollah, since in my point of view they are the most ruthless terrorist militia on the planet. They are the original creators of suicide bombers and spend every waking moment trying to kill every Israeli or American that lives and walks the planet. They don’t put on a military uniform, declare war and then advance like a real military force, in order to fight against the other side’s military. On the contrary, they do not train themselves to fight against soldiers, but instead to carry out horrific violence against innocent civilians. Unlike the other posts where people provided me with useful perspectives, these past few responses have only deepened my sadness. The reality sets in that no matter how much we try to understand the other side, you all don’t want us to understand and “see the error of our ways”, but instead want us to F%off or die. It is really sad.

I am ashamed of how Americans form opinions based on limited and sometimes invalid information. This is further proof of how Americans are failing America. Get the facts before you shoot off your mouth. I suppose you think Kerry was not a liar either.
